No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. The girls hastily offer to fetch it and rush to find a goblin playing with the flag, wearing it different ways and admiring himself in the reflection in the glass side door. She worked in a library after completing her education and began writing for children once her own began school.

She loves to end the week by having everyone over for a movie night, and she thinks it's impossible to eat too much popcorn. Her name might be taken from the Norse goddesses Frigg and Freyja, whose names ‘Friday’ originated from. Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. March 2012 update: our youngest is now immersing herself in this series and is reading them very quickly, too. Rachel’s mother greets Gran and goes to look in the kitchen again, still not finding the ingredients they need. My friend Felicity and I got this book because it was her name and for every picture we colored it in. Knowing that a small goblin could fit through the dog-flap in the back door, Rachel leads Kirsty and Freya into the living room in time to thwart two goblins who’d snuck up on Gran from behind the sofa. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Rachel and Kirsty are planning to make gingerbread men for when Rachel’s gran visits on a windy Friday, but they can’t find flour, eggs, or the cookie cutter. On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. Handy series in that it teaches the days of the week; activities are pretty varied as each fairy is simply responsible for making their day of the week fun.

Rachel asks if she can look at Gran’s new scarf, and Gran holds it out to her, but a gust of wind blows the flag around the corner of the house. Felicity has brownish blonde hair, and she has a purple shirt that matches her boots and her leggings. At Kirsty’s suggestion, Freya turns the goblin’s reflection the same purple as the flag and claims the flag has turned him purple while the girls tease him. The girls and Gran enjoy making gingerbread with some fairy shaped cookie cutters provided by Friday Fun Day magic.Item despatched quickly and as described, but damaged in transit due to plastic wrap packaging being inadequate protection. Linda Chapman has written over 50 children's fiction books, including the following series: My Secret Unicorn, Stardust, Not Quite a Mermaid, and Unicorn School.

Freya the Friday Fairy emerges from between the flowers once the door’s closed, asking if the girls know where the flag is like the Book of Days said they would. The doorbell rings, and an unsubtly disguised goblin claims to be a salesman, offering some marigolds dug up from the Walkers’ flowerbeds in exchange for a lilac scarf. Rainbow Magic features differing groups of fairies as main characters, including the Jewel fairies, Weather fairies, Pet fairies, Petal fairies, and Sporty fairies. The girls resolve to guard Gran from the goblins they know are nearby - Kirsty saw one looking through the window.Rachel’s mum goes to look upstairs in case the cookie cutter got put away, and Kirsty says the missing ingredients might be the fault of the missing Friday Flag. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies. She says she almost felt like someone was following her on the way there, while Rachel notices a silky lilac scarf around her neck.
