Party In The Park 2010

This years Party In The Park was a great success with record numbers attending. The weather was good and the Band 'Crazy Mustang' were terrific, they performed encore after encore, really good. A BIG THANKS to all those that stayed on to help clear up. There were lots of helpers this year and we got tidied away in record time. There are some pictures and a short video.  Food and Raffle all sold out early - so all in all a very good evening was had.

Cheswick Green Village Hall

Our Village Hall is regularly used by local groups including Under 2's, Youth Club, Simone School Of Dance, Dog Training, Craft Club, Brownies and WI. It can also be hired for private parties and other events.

Cheswick Green Residents Association

The Residents Association meets once a month in the Village Hall and aims to look after the interests of residents of the village. We also organise events including 'Party in the Park', Children's Christmas Party and various Day Trips.

Coach Trip to Bristol Docks

Following on from our previous trips to Bath, Liverpool and Windsor, we booked a coach with Johnson's for our 2010 trip, this time to Bristol Docks. It was a glorious day and we were pleased so many people came along. Once there, our party went off to visit the attractions which always seems to involve pubs. A good day was had by all.

Problems With Graffiti, Potholes, Ect

There is a useful website called FixMyStreet that aims to get your street fixed.
Just enter your postcode, stick a pin in the map to show precisely where the problem is, type in your problem and zoom!… off it goes to the council. You can even attach a photograph of the problem. FixMyStreet lets you browse the problems currently reported in your area.

Bus Services and Journey Planner

Central Connect - Signature (the posh ones)) will operate a NEW hourly service from Cheswick Green to Solihull via Shirley from 26th July TIMETABLE. In addition to this Grosvenor Coaches propose to run an hourly service starting on September 1st 2010 as detailed in this timetable
